Our friend "Kozy" Kidzu, a graphic designer here in Tokyo, made the following images in his spare time.
1. We are all on the same branch and that holds us together.
2. In Japan, we keep 2 meters of social-distancing rather than 6 feet. The virus is designed as two cute hedgehogs.
3. Japanese reads: "Let's connect in our distancing!"
Two days ago, I held a copy of The Broken Leaf in my hands for the first time. As I opened the package, I had fun quoting Back to the Future. It was that classic scene when the dad in the movie opens a box of his first published book in front of
his family, proudly holds up a copy, and says, "If you put your mind to
it, you can accomplish anything!" I have been looking forward to using
that line for a long time!
Concerts for the Christmas Season have started! So happy to have Jonas Davison playing with me at this one at Sagami Christ Church near Yokohama. Jonas and his family just moved to Japan to join our team of artists!
Have you seen our new website? We (Roger & Abi) were appointed the international coordinators of the MAKE Collective, a network of artists serving within Mission to the World around the globe. The new website contains articles, blog posts, news,
and analysis of artists in missions history, to encourage a movement of
church planting through the arts around the globe!
